It’s Mental Health Awareness Month!

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we asked our staff members to weigh on what they do to take care of their own mental health. Here’s what they had to say:

Ellen: Running, reading, podcasts, seeing friends, playing with my daughter.

Shivana: Morning sunrise walks, epsom salt soaks, playing restaurant with my children, meditation, playing guitar, song writing, vision board revisions.

Molly: Rock climbing with my family, traveling, spending time with friends, taking naps.

Ilse: Baking, playing with my pets, watching movies, traveling, exercising, reading.

Diane: Talking with friends, walking, gardening, spending time with my kids.

Julia: Making bread, cooking, walking in nature, listening to podcasts/audiobooks, thrift shopping, art projects.

Gabby: Running, spending time outside, cooking, being with family, reading.

Marissa: Reading, yoga, time with friends/family/pets, take walks, art/coloring.

Cassandra: Make my bed, arrange flowers, light a candle, talk to my therapist, dance party with my kids.

Marge: Hiking, gardening, time with family and friends, sports.

Dianna: Go to the beach, spending time with family, watching football and soccer, quiet time

Liz: Walk in nature, lay in the grass, spend time with my friends and family, play with my dogs
